To face a changing world,
you need an unchanging core.
interACT bridges the gap between inner resilience and global action. We provide youth with the evidence-based cognitive tools needed to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Strategic Impact
Targeting the Goals
Our curriculum is designed to support three specific United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, fostering the human capacity needed for sustainable action.
Good Health & Well-being
“Awareness of the core goodness is a seed that produces a healthy mindset which actively helps to achieve good health and holistic wellbeing.”
Target 3.4: By 2030, reduce by one third premature mortality from non-communicable diseases through prevention and treatment and promote mental health and well-being.
Peace, Justice & Strong Institutions
“Contemplation allows the deep experience of the innate qualities of Peace, Love, Happiness, etc which changes the negative cycle of thoughts to a positive cycle of thoughts allowing a positive and a peaceful mindset to make unbiased, righteous and compassionate decisions.”
Target 16.1: Significantly reduce all forms of violence and related death rates everywhere. We cultivate “Peace from Within” as the foundation for societal peace.
Partnerships for the Goals
“Transformative Silence allows acceptance, appreciation and attention in listening which is the key for collaboration, cooperation and partnership.”
Target 17.17: Encourage and promote effective public, public-private and civil society partnerships. We unite across borders to prioritize youth mental health.
The Global Context
Why These Goals Matter Now
The urgency to achieve these goals is underscored by the current global crisis in youth well-being.
1 in 7 Adolescents
Experience a mental disorder globally (WHO, 2021). Without mental health (UN SDG 3), sustainable development is impossible.
59% Eco-Anxiety
Of youth are “extremely worried” about climate change (Lancet, 2021). This paralysis hinders climate action; inner resilience is the key to unlocking it.
Methodology & Delivery
interACT is delivered through a 15-lesson cognitive curriculum (~7 hours). Participants utilize practical tools like Thought Pattern Trackers and Somatic Awareness to build self-regulation skills, directly contributing to UN SDG 3.4.
